drew & molly

This was a beautiful wedding at Mears State Park in Pentwater, MI. I was a little concerned with the weather after all the storms swept thru the state but it was a blessing and relief when the clouds started to clear and the sunshine started to peek thru Saturday afternoon. Molly and Drew had a beautiful ceremony and a very fun reception at Summit Park (just a few minutes up the road from the State Park).

My husband Tim has been friends with the groom, Drew, since elementary school. They pretty much grew up together and act like brothers. So when Tim and I started dating Drew was just as much a part of life as the rest of Tim's family. And when Drew met Molly I remember the first time we met ... it was at Tim's house, and there we all were walking in the woods together. Drew and Tim together talking and then back a few feet Molly and I. haha I still laugh when I remember it! It was a pure pleasure to able to be part of their special day and to be able to help them out as they start a new life together! So from the bottom of my heart, Congrats Drew & Molly! Enjoy the honeymoon and we will catch up when you guys get back -- as Mr. & Mrs. Drew Doster! :)

keeping up...

WOW. shame on me. I've been horrible at keeping up on this blog!! Well in about a month it'll be filled with wedding photos. I have two weddings coming up and am excited for them both. They are both good friends of mine and I am honored to be able to share in their special day with them all.

I have had a job switch tho. (still in photography tho!) I'm working under Melissa Gregersen of Gregersen Photography. I'm her new assistant. I do a lot of office work and computer things but get to soak up all her great knowledge and understanding of the photography world while doing it! It's the best job I think I've ever had! And I LOVE it too. It sure does help when you enjoy going to work.

And in family life, I am now almost 29 weeks pregnant! with the belly growing more every day! :) it's a great feeling and I know both my husband and I are getting anxious to meet our little man here soon ... We start our birthing classes next week, and I have my first baby shower in a few days!! Time has just flown by! And as we are getting his room ready I keep thinking of all the adorable pictures I can't wait to take of him and hang all over!!!! :)

Well I surely hope everyone is enjoying their summer! I'll update very soon -- promise!

We worked together when I lived in Lansing and I haven't been back since!

BIG NEWS! AMAZING NEWS actually!! My husband and I found out this week that I'm 4 weeks pregnant! :) We are due Sept. 25th, 2010. How awesome! God is so good! What a blessing! :) I know I have no pictures to post, and I haven't posted lately, but as soon as I have more to post, I will!

Tristan Robert

This is Tristan. He is my nephew and about 5 weeks old.

Tim & I got to visit with him over Christmas and took advantage of our time together to capture some nice portraits.

He is a cutie! and looks so much like his older brother. The outfit he is wearing in one of the pics is the same outfit his older brother wore for his baby pics.

He did such a great job and didn't cry for Aunt Dani till the very, very end.

What a guy! Glad I got some shots while he was still little, they grow so fast!

Tressa & Joe's Preview

So this weekend didn't go as i wanted to. I got the flu! BUMMER and didn't get to do the photo shoots i wanted. Also a HUGE bummer! but i was well enough for an hour on Sunday to exchange services with my best friend. We took pics of our families for our Christmas cards.
