Milo Man Update

Happy February Everyone! Hope everyone is staying warm and has survived the "Blizzard of 2011". :)

Milo is now 4 months old, and because I can, I took some 4 month pics of him!! You can never have too many photos of your kid!! :) Graduation will be so fun - we'll have plenty of pics to chose from for his open house.

I also took some very cute photos of my niece and a good family friend. I have devoted a new blog for each of them tho, cuz they are just so cute and I wanted to show pics for all of them!!

Happy New Year!!!

I know I posted a pic of our Milo Man earlier, but here are a few more of his 3 month photos and of Christmas. I have so much fun with him every day. He has been such a wonderful blessing and a great joy for Tim and I. We throughly enjoyed our first Christmas as a family together and spent lots of time at home, smiling, laughing, and listening to the coos and gurgles of our son. Pure Bliss!

This is our first Christmas with our Milo Man! So exciting!! :) Time has just flown by with him ... he's already going to be 3 months next week!!!! WOW! and he's growing like a weed, with every day. :) I love it! I've been taking pics of him almost daily, poor man probably thinks the camera is part of his mom! hahaha but this morning he let me take "professional" pics of him in front of the tree ... it didn't last long, so i'll be trying to do some next week too or even later this week. :) but here's one that i LOVE lots ... more to come, Promise!!

Meet Nadia

This is my new, beautiful niece, Nadia. She is just 6 days younger then my new little man, Milo. It's been so fun having two new babies in the family! Here are some cute shots I got from the newborn session we did last week!

Brittany & Andrew's Wedding

I've known both Brittany & Andrew since our sunday school days, way back when ... it was so much fun to be a part of their big day! Brittany and I use to have sleep overs and girl days and Andrew, Tim, and I were all in the same grade and did a lot of group activities and hang outs during middle/high school. So when they asked me to be their photographer I was more the honored and willing to do so! I did their engagement session a few months ago and knew their wedding day was going to be so much fun!

They got married at Northeastern Baptist Church and had the reception at The Fountains in Parchment. She was just the most beautiful bride! and had some beautiful bridesmaids dresses! I'm still working on some of their pictures, but for now, heres a peek at what their day was like ... and Andrew and Brittany - CONGRATS! I couldn't be happier for you both! and I'm def. looking forward to hanging out with my newly married friends! :)

This was a beautiful wedding at Mears State Park in Pentwater, MI. I was a little concerned with the weather after all the storms swept thru the state but it was a blessing and relief when the clouds started to clear and the sunshine started to peek thru Saturday afternoon. Molly and Drew had a beautiful ceremony and a very fun reception at Summit Park (just a few minutes up the road from the State Park).

My husband Tim has been friends with the groom, Drew, since elementary school. They pretty much grew up together and act like brothers. So when Tim and I started dating Drew was just as much a part of life as the rest of Tim's family. And when Drew met Molly I remember the first time we met ... it was at Tim's house, and there we all were walking in the woods together. Drew and Tim together talking and then back a few feet Molly and I. haha I still laugh when I remember it! It was a pure pleasure to able to be part of their special day and to be able to help them out as they start a new life together! So from the bottom of my heart, Congrats Drew & Molly! Enjoy the honeymoon and we will catch up when you guys get back -- as Mr. & Mrs. Drew Doster! :)

keeping up...

WOW. shame on me. I've been horrible at keeping up on this blog!! Well in about a month it'll be filled with wedding photos. I have two weddings coming up and am excited for them both. They are both good friends of mine and I am honored to be able to share in their special day with them all.

I have had a job switch tho. (still in photography tho!) I'm working under Melissa Gregersen of Gregersen Photography. I'm her new assistant. I do a lot of office work and computer things but get to soak up all her great knowledge and understanding of the photography world while doing it! It's the best job I think I've ever had! And I LOVE it too. It sure does help when you enjoy going to work.

And in family life, I am now almost 29 weeks pregnant! with the belly growing more every day! :) it's a great feeling and I know both my husband and I are getting anxious to meet our little man here soon ... We start our birthing classes next week, and I have my first baby shower in a few days!! Time has just flown by! And as we are getting his room ready I keep thinking of all the adorable pictures I can't wait to take of him and hang all over!!!! :)
